About

Brooke is a Speech Pathologist with experience working in NSW Health and a not-for-profit, community-based organisation. She has supported children with developmental delays and a range of developmental disabilities including Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Cortical Vision Impairment, genetic conditions, and other physical, sensory, and communication disabilities.

Brooke recognises and celebrates each child’s diverse strengths and needs. She is deeply committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where children can connect, communicate, and thrive in ways that are meaningful to them. Brooke strongly believes that all children deserve to find their voice so that they feel heard and valued.

Brooke’s approach is neuro-affirming and strengths-based, focusing on building each child’s individual strengths and interests and honouring their unique ways of communicating. She supports children through a total communication approach and is passionate about helping them communicate using any mode that is accessible and meaningful to them – including visuals, core boards, sign, AAC (assistive technology), or spoken language.

Brooke works closely with families and educators to empower them to support children’s inclusion and participation in everyday activities. A key part of her role is capacity-building – supporting families to connect with their child, share moments of joy, and feel confident in supporting their child’s communication and learning across all parts of daily life.
